Basic Allosaurid Info

Allosaurus
Up to 39 feet long, Allosaurus was a large theropod that lived during the late Jurassic.  Though evidence shows it was widespread, most remains have been found in North America.  Like other Allosaurids, it would have resembled a small-headed, long-armed, lightly built Tyrannosaur.

The following animals were once thought to be their own Allosaurid genra, but newer evidence suggests they all belong to the genus Allosaurus.
